Florida Woman Kicks Attacker’s Ass In Gym
The man had no idea what he started.
Florida woman is NOT a victim, so DO NOT roll up on her like she is.
A would-be attacker learned a valuable lesson last month when he tried to attack a 24-year-old woman as she worked out at her apartment complex’s gym. Surveillance video caught the incident as it unfolded. As the woman was working out, she noticed a man at the door. Thinking she recognized the man from the apartment community, she went to the door and let him in. That’s when the man dove at her and tried to wrestle her to the ground. As you can see in the video, the woman immediately threw punches and landed several direct hits. The man kept attacking the woman, driving her to the ground, but not for long. For a few moments, the two disappear from the screen, but when they return, the woman is seen running toward the door as the man reels and stumbles from the beating he’d just suffered.
Nashali Alma recounted the attack, saying when the man approached her quickly, she yelled “bro, what the f are you doing?” According to investigators with the Hillborough County Sheriff’s Department, the suspect, identified as Xavier Thomas, approached Alma and grabbed her by the wrist. When Alma told the man to leave, he reportedly chased her around the gym and eventually pinned her to the floor. But Alma never gave up. She gained the upper hand and fought off the man. That’s when she ran to the door and called 911 from another location.
“I actually had no fear. I’m a body builder and I’m pretty strong. So in my mind, he was kind of equal to me.”, Alma told deputies. Although the suspect fled the scene, he was apprehended within 24 hours and now faces charges of sexual battery, false imprisonment and kidnapping. Alma has some advice for women who may find themselves in the same terrifying spot, saying “Always keep fighting, never give up. As long as you fight back and show him that you’re strong and you’re not giving up, I believe it’s possible to escape.”
Sheriff Chad Chronister said he was overcome with emotion by Alma’s story, saying that he was proud of the woman’s strength and hard she fought off her attacker, never allowing herself to become a victim. Source: WFLA.com
The Best Florida Cities For Retirement
Stop us if you’ve heard this before. Multiple Florida cities made a list of best places for retirement, one even earned the top spot. Deciding where to retire can be a tough decision (for some), but for Floridians, we know nothing is better than the Sunshine State.
It’s pretty obvious why people flee to Florida to retire. We have warm weather year-round, beautiful beaches, plenty of golf courses, and easy access to health care. Coincidentally, those are a lot of the factors Niche based their study on. This study was looking for cities that would score high for: weather, crime rates, residents 65 and older, housing costs, and access to amenities such as restaurants, golf courses, exercise facilities, and doctors. States like California and Arizona are also considered prime retirement destinations. To keep you from reading about the same states, a maximum of 10 places per state were featured.
Some of the most desirable retirement destinations are those located near major cities like San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles. But because cost of living is so high, it’s not ideal for people on fixed incomes. Not only do we have multiple retirement communities in Florida, but so many activities for them to take part in! We get that wasting your retirement years on a rocking chair on your front porch is no longer ideal. Seniors in Florida can choose between a variety of natural attractions.
We won’t feature all 100 best retirement cities, just the ones in Florida. If you’d like to see the whole list, click here.

Worst Places To Hang Up Your Flip Flops
Sean Roberts was conceived in the Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky by two passionate, panel aligning, third shifters who had grown bored with the same ole same ole. Upon birth, he was placed in the trunk of a new Stingray and sent off to find his destiny.
That destiny included several stints on radio stations across the United States. Some played punk country gospel, while others focused on Croatian death metal played backwards.
After many years and many adventures, Sean wound up on The Shark, where he does shots of tequila while playing the most badass tunes ever created by humankind.
He remains humble, however, never forgetting about the lean years...the street corners and dark alleys where he played songs on his car stereo for food and sex.
He's on top and he's never gonna stop LIVING THE DREAM!
