We reported the other day that it was highly rumored that Byron Leftwich would be fired this week after the abysmal performance against the Cowboys in game one of the playoffs. Now it is officially confirmed Byron Leftwich has officially been fired but he is not the only one to be fired there are more.
This firing is not without its controversy. Many fans are upset they have fired part of the team that took the Buccaneers to the Super Bowl back in 2021. But Todd Bowels is done with them. However, Coach Bowels wasn’t done with just letting go of Byron Leftwich. The team has parted ways with both Wide receivers coach Kevin Garver and running backs coach Todd McNair. Apparently, Clyde Christensen the Quarterback Coach is retiring, per multiple reports.
The Bucs have also fired receivers coach Kevin Garver. Quarterbacks coach Clyde Christensen has decided to retire after 43 years in coaching.

The Offensive team had the worse rushing yardage in the entire NFL this year. The team averaged over 30 points per game in the last two seasons. This average tanked this year to just 18. Despite this two coaches remain that are raising some questions on Twitter. Offesnive Line Coach Joe Gilbert and Running Coordinator Kacy Rogers are still on the team. [Source BucsWire.com]
