Sunday Activities To Try Now That The Bucs’ Season Is Over
Well, that’s a wrap on another NFL season. Sure, there are still a few more playoff games and the Super Bowl to watch. For some reason, I just don’t seem to care as much when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are out of the running. Even though the team was in a “rebuilding” year after Tom Brady retired and left the team in a bad place financially, the Buccaneers were still able to win their division (NFC South) and beat the Philadelphia Eagles in the first round of the playoffs. Let’s not forget, that the Eagles were very close to winning a Super Bowl last year! I’d say a great season considering the experts picked the Bucs to win only 6 games all things considered. But what do you do with your Sundays now that Tampa football is over?
Nevertheless, Sundays won’t be the same for a lot of us for the next 7 months. This leaves a huge 4-hour hole in the weekend, so I thought about making a few suggestions…Here are some Sunday activities to try now that the Bucs’ season is over.
- Play Golf- this is definitely the number one answer for most guys and if you don’t play golf, Sundays are now a good day to learn. For one thing, it’s a 4-hour commitment, unless you only play 9 holes, but that’s only for women over 70. Golf is the perfect excuse to hang out with a few of your pals and drink beer. Need I say more?
- Socialize with other Couples- Obviously if you are single this doesn’t apply. Lucky you! Most of us are constantly asked to do things with other couples so Sunday could now be one of those days, but not every Sunday for cryin’ out loud
- Start or Finish Home Project- Did you ever have a great idea to redo a bathroom or a kitchen? If you answered “yes” to that question, chances are you still haven’t started or finished the project. This may take multiple Sundays especially if you aren’t handy
- Go Outside- We live in Florida. Take advantage of the outdoors. Go for a bike ride, paddle board, walk the dog, go to the beach. You’ve been in front of the TV every Sunday since September. Go outside and get some color for God’s sake!
