Look you can sit here and gripe all day that Byron shouldn’t have been fired, but it is over and done with. He didn’t sit around and think about a Superbowl-winning season. He’s putting himself out there and apparently, he’s getting some serious offers too. Byron Leftwich is on the rebound after being fired from the Bucs and some top colleges are the prospects.
Over a month has passed since Leftwich was fired and now Todd Bowles already has his prospects marked. Losing a talented Offensive Coordinator will be felt in the preseason but Colleges are going to receive a pretty impressive college Offensive coordinator. Maybe spending some time back there and stacking up some W’s will get him a head coach position back in the Pros. Right now the big college that he is dropping hints to Leftwich is Notre Dame. An inside source has confirmed that the two have been in talks.
Byron Leftwich reached out to Notre Dame about the OC position last week, per source. He and Marcus Freeman have stayed in contact as Leftwich remains a serious candidate for the job. @247Sports

Now Byron isn’t the only one vying for the Notre Dames position. Philadelphia Eagles quarterbacks coach Brian Johnson has also thrown his hat in the ring and Notre Dame has noticed. But it’s good to hear that Byron Leftwich is on the rebound after being fired from the Bucs. You may find yourself a new college team to watch if he gets the job. [Source Pewter Plank]
2 Years Ago Today: Bucs Win The Super Bowl
Seems so much longer ago now doesn’t it? Here are some photos of that incredible week when Tampa was the epicenter of the sports world and the Bucs went all the way!
So much has changed in the Bucs organization since this SB win. Bruce Arians stepped down as head coach, Tom Brady retired, then unretired, then retired again. We lost some start talent and gained new ones. The coolest part about this Super Bowl was that the Bucs were the first team in NFL history to win the big game at their home field. Even though the Los Angeles Rams did the same thing the following year, we can always say the Buccaneers did it first.
What was your favorite part of this Super Bowl W?
