What To Expect At Bret Michaels’ Parti Gras In Tampa
Nothin’ but a good time! Bret Michael’s Parti Gras is ready to make its stop in Tampa on Friday, August 5th. From what we’ve seen at the other shows, it looks like it’s going to live up to its name! Bret has shown a lot of love to the crowd at past dates by signing autographs on stage, bringing fans on stage, and even letting them strum his guitar. Are you going to be heading to the show? Here’s what you should know before you go!
What You Can/Cannot Bring Inside
These items are NOT Permitted:
- Hard Coolers
- Laser pointers
- Weapons
- Animals except seeing eye dogs
- Glass or Metal Containers
- Alcoholic Beverages or Soft Drinks
- Low-profile lawn chairs (you can rent them at the Amp though)
Note: if you’re sitting on the lawn, you CAN bring in blankets to sit on! Umbrellas are also OK to bring in as well! You can also bring in a nonprofessional camera with NO detachable lenses.
When should you get there?
According to Live Nation’s website, the parking lots open 2 hours before gates. So expect the parking lot to open around 3pm and gates to open at 5pm. *These times are always subject to change*
Bag Policy:
Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” and/or small clutch bags (4.5”x 6.5”).

What should you wear?
We’ve noticed that other fans attending Parti Gras have decked out in Bret Michaels “costumes”, even the ladies! While it’s not a rule to dress this way, you’ll definitely get some attention by fellow rockers and maybe from Bret himself!

Other things to know:
The MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre is a CASHLESS venue! They only accept credit, debit, or mobile pay. If you only brought cash, you can convert your money to a prepaid debit card, dollar for dollar, no charges, at the cash-t0-card kiosk. This also means that your ticket will be digital as well.
