Tampa Beats NYC As Best Foodie City

New York City, San Francisco and Chicago have always been known as great places to get vittles, but times they are a changin’. In the latest “Best Foodie Cities In America” poll by WalletHub, Florida kicked some wholesale ass in 2022! Strangely, New York City didn’t even make it to the top ten.

Are you sitting down? Napkin on your lap? Here are the top foodie cities across America, especially those in Florida. Orlando was among the biggest winners in the culinary realm, with a spectacular number TWO showing. Miami trails Orlando at number THREE. Tampa climbed to number EIGHT this year. And now, the number one position in the poll…..Portland, Oregon! Wait, huh? Yep, Portland is now the reigning champion across the United States. still, Florida dominates in another way. We made the list, all with different cities, a total of eleven times. The poll not only sampled products from various restaurants, but it also considered price, availability, quality and diversity. Taxes were even figured into the research, where Florida kicked further butt.

So, at the end of it all, Florida not only wins in almost a dozen separate cities, we also win by quality of food, diversity of types of food and the ability to eat on a beautiful, sunny beach! First Look Inside The New Shake Shack at Midtown Tampa

Here is a first look inside the new Shake Shack at Midtown Tampa. It opens Monday but we got to take a sneak peek inside Tampa’s newest burger joint. Shake Shack is a New York transplant known for their burgers, shakes and fries. However, we got a tip that their hot dogs are not to be missed either. This is the first in Tampa. Until now the closest one was in Orlando on I-Drive.

Nobody Beats Florida For Tacos

Sean Roberts was conceived in the Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky by two passionate, panel aligning, third shifters who had grown bored with the same ole same ole. Upon birth, he was placed in the trunk of a new Stingray and sent off to find his destiny. That destiny included several stints on radio stations across the United States. Some played punk country gospel, while others focused on Croatian death metal played backwards. After many years and many adventures, Sean wound up on The Shark, where he does shots of tequila while playing the most badass tunes ever created by humankind. He remains humble, however, never forgetting about the lean years...the street corners and dark alleys where he played songs on his car stereo for food and sex. He's on top and he's never gonna stop LIVING THE DREAM!
