Florida Woman Fondles Donuts, Punches Cop
Let’s contemplate the wondrous donut, freshly deep-fried and glazed with sugary goodness. It’s right up there with a bacon-wrapped filet or a proper Cuban sandwich. Just stepping into a donut shop can be an otherworldly experience. The heady aroma of coffee mingles with the soft scents of cinnamon and brown sugar. The customers in front of you wait patiently for their chance at a second wind they need so badly. That’s why this story is so twisted, so warped, so unbelievable.
Police in Naples were called to a Dunkin Donuts to help with a customer who was creating a disturbance. According to the official report, officers arrived to find a 40-year-old woman lying on the sidewalk in front of the business. Employees told the police that the woman had walked in, touched the donuts that were for sale and then pushed an employee when confronted about her actions. Investigators say the woman, who was identified as Brandi Coffill was lying on the sidewalk in front of the store when they arrived. One of the officers recognized the woman from previous interactions. Police detected a strong alcohol smell around the woman and said she had trouble talking to them. During the interview, officers say Coffill punched one of them. She was arrested and charged with battery on a law enforcement officer. Source: WFLA.com
