16-Year-Old Arrested After Shooting at Tampa Police
Two teens have been arrested after shooting at Tampa Police. One Teen had two warrants out for him that had nothing to do with the shooting.
Remember back in the day when you saw Bubba Milgilicutty driving to school and they had a full gun rack in the back of their truck? Nothing bad would happen. Nowadays you can’t even go five minutes without hearing about kids shooting teachers, or even worse a 16-year-old has been arrested after shooting at Tampa Police.
While patrolling in the area of 54th Street in Tampa on Tuesday evening police took direct fire. The officers were a plainclothes unit and driving an unmarked vehicle. As they passed a home, a group out front started to fire upon the car. Thankfully no one was hurt as the bullets hit the front of the vehicle. The group then scattered on foot, and police were unable to apprehend anyone at the time.
Thanks to an investigation later that day, police were able to arrest the 16-year-old after shooting at the Tampa Police. Witness testimonies led to the arrest of the teenager. The weapon used during the shooting was found discarded near a neighbor’s house. One of the boys also arrested during the operation was wanted in unrelated crimes and had two active warrants out for him at the time. [Source Fox13]
