Florida Man Went Over 100 MPH In Lamborghini While Shooting Gun And Posting On Instagram
Look, I know how to party. I can stay up past midnight with the best of them. I can eat tacos at 2 a.m. and still be ready for work the next morning at 8. But my partying prowess pales by comparison to Florida Man.
Police in Doral, Florida say a man is now in custody after a wild ride he took several nights ago. They almost never heard anything about the incident, until a video surfaced on Instagram and went viral. The video shows a man speeding along in a Lamborghini and spraying bullets indiscriminately out the car window. Several days after the video was made, it was posted online. Shortly afterward, the video went viral. That’s when police took notice and started an investigation. Detectives noticed some unique tattoos on the back of the hand of the man who fired the pistol from the car. They were also able to determine that the car was a green Lamborghini that was traveling at over 100 mph during the video.
Investigators say they arrested 23-year-old Nelson Alejandro Perez-Valdivia after he turned himself in to the Florida Highway Patrol on Monday morning. Perez-Valdivia will go before a judge this morning to face multiple charges, including 14 counts of discharging a weapon from a vehicle, carrying a concealed firearm and several others. Each shot fired could count as a felony and carry with it a maximum of 15 years in prison. A $10,000 fine is also a possibility. This is not the man’s first time facing a judge. He was already out on bond for another weapons charge which he will face in February.
Perez-Valdivia was observed sitting in the passenger side of a green Lamborghini as it sped along at over 100 mph last Friday night, firing his semi-automatic handgun into the air and into populated areas on the side of the road. Just before the shots were fired, a video posted to the suspect’s account showed the Lamborghini racing another vehicle as the occupants sang and laughed, all while exceeding 111 mph. Police say the man’s tattoos and the driver’s unique car aided the investigation. Here’s the full story, with video. Source: NBCMiami.com
