Semi Loads of Drugs Shipped to the Tampa Bay Area
It’s crazy the things you can get overnighted now a days, look California has been sending Semi Loads of Drugs into Hillsborough and Pinellas County. Marijuana and other unnamed narcotics have all been listed in the seizures carried out by multiple agencies including Saint Pete Police.
Speaking on the operation Saint Pete Police Chief Anthony Holloway said that one or two Tractor Trailers would arrive from California bringing in the drugs to the Tampa Bay Area. Once here they dropped off and delivered by smaller personnel. They believe this has been going on since January when a spike of crime was noted.
In the last two weeks the operation seized over 1,800 pounds of marijuana, 42 grams of crack cocaine, 18 grams of heroin with fentanyl, and vehicles. 130 arrest and subpoenas have been issued and obtained
“Someone who thinks they are going to replace this group, well think again, this is the message we want to send out to the Bay Area, we will not tolerate this.” -Saint Pete Police Chief Anthony Holloway
