Yo, Vanilla Ice Is Building A Pop Culture Museum In Florida
Alright stop, collaborate and listen. Ice is back with a brand new mission. His goal this time? He wants to turn an historic building in Florida into a museum of pop culture and more.
The building is in Lake Worth Beach and it was originally built way back in 1922 as a Masonic meeting hall. As the years passed, the building feel into a state of disrepair. Now, Vanilla has gutted the interior of the structure and has massive plans for the development of the property. Most of you know that Robert Van Winkle a.k.a. Vanilla Ice has been quite successful as the host of his own television show called ‘The Vanilla Ice Project’ on the DIY Network, where he and his crew perform renovations on older buildings. He’s got a good eye and he works hard to complete his dream projects.
His vision for the old masonic Hall entails a speak-easy in the basement, a brewery on the first floor, a pop culture museum on the second floor and a rooftop bar that will look out across the Atlantic Ocean. His goal is to transport visitors back in time to the 1920s in the speak-easy, show them all the best pop culture from the last 100 years or so and provide a great rooftop bar experience high atop the city. Pretty cool, huh? According to Van Winkle in a recent Facebook video, the project should be done in about 6 months. Source: WFLX.com
