St. Pete Police Break Up Classic Car Chop Shop
I’m a huge car guy. I love them all. From muscle cars to hotrods, race cars to antiques and exotics to pickups. That’s why this story pisses me off so much. I know how much my personal vehicles mean to me. I can’t imagine how I’d rect if someone were o steal one of them and disasemble it for parts. I’d probably do the same to them. Police say Lee Canady and James Nethery targeted collectible cars from the 1980s and 1990s to chop up and make money off of the parts. Both have been arrested and charged with several counts of vehicle theft and burglary. One of the cars discovered was a Chevrolet IROC-Z, which had been stolen, stripped and later sold to an unsuspecting buyer, who will now be out the money he spent to buy it. – Sean Roberts
