You know what we really need here, more cowbell. And your tesla can provide. Here is how to get your Tesla to play Blue Oyster Occult.

Calling all my friends that actually own one, you got to let me know if this works. There is a way to get your Tesla to play Blue Oyster Cult. While driving there is a way that you can get it to play “Don’t Fear the Reaper.” There are several easter eggs hidden in the stylish electric vehicle but this one seems to be the coolest feature of them all.

Here is how to get going. When you are driving and the vehicle is set to autopilot you need to tap the Autopilot paddle 4 times quickly. This does a couple of things really. First, it turns the color of the navigation map into a rainbow, in a tribute to Mario Kart’s Rainbow Road. Secondly, it plays Blue Oyster Cults “Don’t Fear the Reaper.” Well not their version however, it plays the “SNL” Version with Christopher Walken and Will Ferrel. Check out the video below.

This isn’t the only rock reference the Tesla will make either. Elon Musk decided to throw it back to the classic rock movie Spinal Tap. When you turn up the volume you aren’t missing the number 10, no it only goes up to 11 in a Tesla. [Source Inc.com]
