Police: Fort Myers Woman Pulls Gun At Gas Pump
Let’s all take a moment to breathe. That’s what police in Fort Myers say after a report of a customer pulling a gun on two women at a gas pump. It would be tragic to barely survive a terrible hurricane just to die while waiting in line for fuel. Fort Myers Police Department investigators say a woman who was waiting in line at a gas pump in Fort Myers thought someone was cutting in line infront of her and produced a gun to handle it.
Thankfully, no one was injured during the incident, which started when a vehicle was seemingly trying to get into a line of vehicles that were lined up and waiting for fuel. That’s when police say 59-year-old Terri Lynn Johns aimed a gun at two women in the car and threatened them for cutting in line before their turn. After the police arrived, it was determined that the women were making an attempt to negotiate their way through the heavy traffic to leave. Investigators arrested Johns and placed her in the Lee County jail on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and another weapon offense. Police remind everyone to relax and be patient during a very trying time. Source: WFLA.com
