Chuck Considers Messing With The Shout Out Board In The Office
If you have listened to this show for any amount of time, you might know that we aren’t really the ones to participate in workplace events. We’ve spoken about potlucks, we’ve talked about company parties, and today it’s the new shout-out board. Dave and Ken have made their way onto the board and Chuck has an idea to create a little chaos.
So, there is a new shout out board in the office here at the station. People can write a message to someone who they think has been doing a great job. Obviously, it’s meant to boost morale and allow people to be recognized. And, someone wrote a message to Dave on there.
All fingers point to Chuck. He won’t admit it but, we all know it was him. Then, we find out that Overly Straight Guy Ken had a message left for him up there as well. Dave’s says, “Dave Hunter Rules!”, and Ken’s says that he gives the best hugs. If you know Ken, you know he isn’t the hugging type.
We give Ken a call to congratulate him on being the best hugger in the building and let him know about his shout out. You need to read the next sentence with some sarcasm. He’s thrilled. We joke about it with him and he offers anyone in the building to try and give him a hug and see how that goes!
It’s just our nature to find the funny in everything. Even something as innocent as a shout out board can be churned up and spit out by the show.
Chuck suggests creating a little chaos and starting to randomly remove names from the board. If maybe it’s been up there a couple weeks, take it down. That would really confuse people and we imagine him getting in trouble for it. Chuck gets called into the manager’s office because he’s vandalizing the shout out board. Hilarious.
