Florida Man Claims to be Rock Legend While Being Arrested
Florida is already home to major rock stars. We have AC/DC in Sarasota and Fort Myers, Members of the Allman Brothers, Joe Perry from Aerosmith, and even the man this Naples man claims to be one.
According to Naples Police, Eugene Bingham was disrupting local restaurants. He yelled at guests and even tried to fight people at the bar. At one local restaurant, he even tried to get on stage and give the performance of his life. Police were eventually able to catch up to Eugene after his attempted performance after a woman reported him. She said she saw “A drunk man in a red shirt claiming he was Mick Jagger.” When police finally caught him, he struggled with them but was eventually detained.
In true rock star fashion, though, Eugene wasn’t done as he vomited in the back of the squad car. Due to medical reasons, Eugene was not booked into the lockup, but he faces charges of disorderly intoxication and battery on a law enforcement officer.
