Sonic the Hedgehog Robs a Florida Bank
Gone are the days of robbing banks with the Nixon mask, now we do it with video game characters. A Florida Credit Union was robbed by a man in a Sonic the Hedgehog mask, according to The West Voluia Beacon. He figured this may make him fast enough to getaway. He was right.
Wednesday around 4:oo a Florida Credit Union was being robbed by a man. His choice of attire was an all-black outfit complete with a Sonic the Hedgehog mask. Witnesses claim that they believe the perp to be a male due to the tone of their voice. They entered the bank wielding a hammer yelling for the teller to give them the money. One brave employee confronted the man who then fled on foot
No one was hurt and the perpetrator has yet to be caught. Deland Police are asking for any tips. [Source The West Voluia Beacon]
