A Florida man got into a wild chase but instead of being chased by a patrol car he was pursued by a police horse! It did not end well for him.

Would you rather be chased by an officer in a patrol car or by a police horse? After seeing this video, you probably have a better chance of evading the car! It would be incredibly scary to realize you’re being chased down by a police horse. Is it going to stomp you? Is it going to run you over? Could it bite you? What will happen if it gets to you? This man, unfortunately, learned that lesson the hard way.

Florida Man Chased By Police Horse

According to FOX 13 News, 25-year-old Jordan Wilson was busted handing off illegal drugs in Jacksonville and then tried to make a run for it but he never counted on being chased by a police horse. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office shared body camera footage of the chase on social media. You can watch it below.

JSO Officer Cassie Haire is heard on video saying, “Get that bad man, Nash! Hey! Get on the ground. You’re going to get run over.” Nash is apparently the name of the police horse.

Wilson was caught and arrested on a charge of resisting an officer without violence, per FOX 13 News. He has since been released from Duval County jail. JSO said in a statement given to FOX 13 News, “While Nash is the star of the video, we want to give a big shoutout to fellow crime-fighting steeds Jaxx, Judge, and Duke, for making sure justice was the mane priority. Our Mounted United doesn’t just horse around when it comes to crime!” Every time! You can always count on some puns in a statement like this.
