Tarpon Springs Woman Arrested For Throwing Raw Steak At Boyfriend
This wouldn’t be the first crazy Florida story that involved someone getting arrested over throwing food. A Tarpon Springs woman was arrested on Sunday (August 7) after “beefing” it out with her boyfriend. She is facing domestic assault charges after allegedly throwing a raw steak at her partner during a fight. The complaint notes that the steak was identified as a weapon, although it wasn’t confiscated at the scene by police.
Rochelle Wright, 42, and the male victim were arguing and under the influence when the “assault” took place. According to reports, Wright was angry at the victim and the steak went flying. She missed her target and only ended up hitting his chair that he was occupying and a nearby wall. When the police questioned her about the incident she said she was “tired of his behavior and their arguing.”
Wright was booked at the Pinellas County jail on a misdemeanor charge and has been released since.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard a crazy story like this. Just last month a man faced felony charges for throwing hot dogs at a police officer.
