Brayden Point #21 of the Tampa Bay Lightning warms up during a game against the Boston Bruins at Amalie Arena on November 21, 2022 in Tampa, Florida.

With the Lightning season in full swing, it’s not often fans get a chance to meet the players this time of year. But it’s the holidays and the Lightning are well-known for their charity work. Bolts fans will have a chance to take photos and get an autograph from Tampa Bay Lightning center Brayden Point in Tampa tomorrow (December 12).

You’ll want to first pick up a toy to donate to Metropolitan Ministries of Tampa. Then head to the toy drive at the Westshore Florida Blue Center at 201 North Westshore Boulevard in Tampa to meet Brayden Point. The event starts at noon and winds down between 5:30 and 6:30pm.

What should you bring for a donation? They’re really looking for gifts for teenagers. Things like jewelry, purses, makeup, sports gear, clothing and gift cards will be very appreciated. Metropolitan Ministries will handle the gift wrapping.
