Are you a Gator? A Seminole? A Bull? How do you feel about the city you went to school in? WalletHub has put together a list of the Best College Towns & Cities in America. 2 Florida college towns made the list. But guess what? Gainesville, Tallahassee and Tampa got beat out by another “college town” in the Sunshine State.

You may not think of it necessarily as a college town, but Orlando topped the list for Florida. Primarily known as the home of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Orlando is home to the University of Central Florida, Rollins College, Full Sail University and a couple dozen other schools.

If you’re a Florida Gator, you can at least say you beat the Noles. Tallahassee didn’t make the top 10, but Gainesville did. Gainesville scored well in “wallet friendliness.” As for other Florida cities, Tampa came in at #12 and Miami ranked #27.

No. 9: Rexburg, Idaho
No. 10: College Station, Texas

The list from Bankrate.com was based upon categories such as costs, education, jobs, safety and quality of life and who is moving to each city. After looking through 50 cities/metropolitan areas, this is the list they came up with.
