It was a wild weather weekend in Tampa Bay. The passing heavy rains, powerful winds and even hail forced COVID-19 vaccination locations to close down and viewers worldwide for WWE’s WrestleMania event at Raymond James Stadium had to wait until the threat had passed here in Florida. It really got crazy up in Panama City Beach as you see in the video above.

The National Weather Service has confirmed that two tornadoes did pop up, according to Channel 8. The good news is no one was hurt. The first tornado was in Bradenton Saturday afternoon at 5:45pm. It reached wind speeds of 95 miles per hour as it traveled for a half mile. The next day around lunchtime, a tornado wreaked havoc in Winter Haven just after 12 noon Sunday. It was a bit weaker.
