Burger Chain Looking To Open 10 Locations In Tampa Area In Next 5 Years
Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties are about to get a new choice for burgers and shakes. For those of us transplants who love to get a little bit of the tastes of home here in Tampa Bay, when a new chain comes to town, it’s a big deal. I’m not from Texas so this one is new to me.

The Tampa Bay Business Journal reports that “Mooyah” is coming to Florida. The plan to open ten restaurants in Tampa Bay by 2025. Each one will cost about a half million to build and will be about 2,000 square feet. They’ve never used drive thru’s but it sounds like their plans for their Tampa locations will break from that tradition. We may get the first Mooya to actually have one.
This won’t be their first time in Florida. Mooyah has one location in Miami and 3 in the Orlando area. Ever been to a Mooyah? Tweet me your review @GenoAteTampa and I’ll include it below. Burger in that pic above looks pretty darn good to me! [Source: TBBJ]
