The Sunshine Skyway Lit Up For Veterans Day
Fortunately many got some great pics last night as they lit up the Sunshine Skyway Bridge in our nation’s colors to honor our veterans! For those who snapped these shots for those of us who aren’t so crazy about heights or who don’t to the commute often from Pinellas to the Bradenton/Sarasota stretch, thank you!

The race featured a youthful and charismatic candidate against one of the most powerful and well financed incumbent members of Congress. While Grimes led early in the race, and remained tied in polls with McConnell for much of the year, the final month saw McConnell's monetary advantage and efforts to paint Grimes as an Obama surrogate begin to take effect. McConnell ultimately regained his lead and defeated Grimes to become the new Senate Majority Leader as the Republican party took control of the U.S. Senate. (Photo by Win McNamee/Getty Images)
