Hockey preseason is underway and we might have (another) shot at the Stanley Cup…
The Tampa Bay Lightning are the favorites to win the 2020 Stanley Cup.
The Lightning finished last regular-season with 128 points, they out scored the second-place team in the Eastern Conference by 21 points. Although, they were not so lucky during the playoffs with them getting chewed up and spit out by the Columbus Blue Jackets during the first round… This year we HOPE it will be different
During the off-season the Lightning signed forward Pat Maroon, who helped the St. Louis Blues win the first Stanley Cup in franchise history.
“I kind of knew going in what kind of an organization it was and how good that team really was. And for me, that’s what meant the most. I felt like Tampa and their style of hockey was the best fit and I can kind of bring a different element than they’re used to seeing. I felt like I can help out. They didn’t really have to sell much.”
