Man Gets Prison Time for Sale of Fake Brady Super Bowl Rings
A man in New Jersey has been sentenced to three years in prison for selling replica Tom Brady Super Bowl rings.
The man posed as a former member of the New England Patriots to get the rings, which are available for players to purchase.
When players are able to buy Super Bowl rings, they also get a special login on a website that allows them to buy replicas of rings.
The man sold one of the rings, on which he had inscribed Brady’s name, at auction for $337 thousand.
