Another Guy Pretends to Be Kidnapped to Ditch Work…Goes to Jail!
When will people learn that this is NOT a smart way to get a day off work! It’s more of an easy pass to get thrown into jail or the unemployment line.
A Polish man named Mariusz Kaminski went a little too far in his attempt to get a day off. He has been jailed after sending his boss a message claiming he was being held against his will and couldn’t make it into work, this initiated a full police investigation and search for him.
It turned out he wasn’t kidnapped at all and was just messaging his manager from his home. He had his appearance in court and was sentenced to 16 months in jail for making up the crazy story.
