Florida Indian Restaurant Named A Best In America

Indian food is well known for offering a very flavorful experience. Whether you want some spice or delicious naan bread, this cuisine has you covered. In fact, Mashed recently reported the best Indian establishments in America, and a Florida restaurant was named.

“Before you try your hand at some recipes in the kitchen, we recommend tasting the true flavors of Indian food at some of the absolute best spots in the country,” Mashed introduces. Seventeen restaurants are then showcased, featuring mouth-watering images of their dishes. New York seems to be hitting it out of the park with this popular cuisine, as they had six restaurants featured.

Tasting Table recently explained that Indian food has a wide range of flavors and textures. This is due to the vast geography of the country. “From coastal regions serving seaside fare to mountainous areas where fresh produce is hard to come by, there’s always a new dish for you to try,” they state.

The Florida restaurant that was praised for having some of the best Indian food in the country has all the above. So, what is the restaurant?

Ghee Indian Kitchen In Kendall Florida

Located on SW 72nd Pl, Ghee Indian Kitchen has select hours to be aware of. They are open Tuesday through Sunday for lunch from 12-2:30 pm and dinner from 5-9 pm (10 pm on Fridays).

Chef Niven Patel has made it clear that his aim is for guests to feel at home. The aroma from all the fresh Indian spice permeates the restaurant. The menu is broken into snacks, curries, and breads. Of course, you will find traditional favorites like the generous portion of Chicken Tiki Masala and raita, but Ghee’s also has some unique offerings. For example, there’s a Short Rib Dosa which consists of a fermented rice crepe filled with short-rib beef. It’s then served with a side of sambar dal, and coconut chutney.
