The World’s First Vagina Museum Is Trying To Raise $100K To Reopen
To the disappointment of many, the Vagina Museum in London was forced to close earlier this year…but good news for fans of the va-jay-jay! The curators of the museum have found a new location to reopen.
The only catch is that the museum has until early-June to come up with just over $100K so they can reopen their doors. If they don’t raise the money to reopen, they say that the museum will likely never reopen.
On our penultimate day in Bethnal Green we're thrilled by how many people decided to come inside! Tomorrow is your last chance to visit us here. We'll be open 10am-8pm on 1st Feb before we have to leave. This wave of love and support makes us optimistic for finding our next home. pic.twitter.com/Fme1KMNu8s

If they are successful in raising the funds the museum will be able to secure a six-year lease on a new home.
As of now they’re over half-way there thanks to support from both public and private donors. If you are interested in helping the cause there is a link to the gofundme at the bottom of this post.
The Vagina Museum opened back in 2019 after starting out as pop-up exhibits back in 2017.
BIG CROWDFUNDING UPDATE! We have found our perfect space! It's a gorgeous pair of twin railway arches in East London. We have BIG plans for this space and we'll have the room to realise these plans. But there's a catch... https://t.co/jsp1PUUPWu
