Tom Brady Announces Start Date with Fox Sports
Tom Brady announces his start date with Fox Sports and it’s not anytime soon. He retired last week shaking up the sports world, for the second time. There was always talk about him being a Broadcaster after he retired but no one was sure when that would happen. You would think he would be ready to go for the Superbowl, but his contract is even further out than that.
Speaking with Collin Cowherd on “The Herd” he said he wanted to take the next season off. He plans to stick to it this time and says that he will begin to call games starting Fall of 2024.
“One thing about my career, whether that was when I was drafted by the Patriots or signed in free agency with the Bucs, I wanted to be fully committed,” Brady explained “I never wanted to let people down — I think my biggest motivator was that.”
He has plans to work on himself and other factors of his life before he gets back to the NFL in any capacity. When asked if he was going to pull another retirement hoax next season he was a lot more cordial than the last time someone asked him. He said no this is it and it’s definitely the right time to do so. [Source TMZ]
Our Favorite Tom Brady Memories
Today, the legendary Tom Brady announced his retirement from the NFL… Stop us if this sounds familiar. It seems like this is the real retirement announcement from the GOAT, even though he didn’t leave us with a long winded speech, we think he is serious this time. So in honor of the GOAT’s second retirement, we want to reminisce on all of his great times here in Tampa. These are our favorite Tom Brady memories.
Obviously we’re forever grateful that Tom chose Tampa to be the second and only other NFL team he would play for. His first year as a Buccaneer came with a Super Bowl trophy that was won at home, along with some amazing boat parade memories. Seriously, who could ever forget the legendary Lombardi trophy toss. We also loved to see his personality step out more during his time in Tampa. His armchair QB segment with the Bucs showed his humor and personality like we’ve never seen it.
