They are hyping this up as possibly the largest-ever BBQ and Bourbon Festival coming right here to Saint Pete.
You have to love good BBQ and Bourbon, so it makes sense that you want to combine them for one massive event. It will possibly be the largest-ever BBQ and bourbon festival coming to Saint Pete. It is the inaugural event that is going to be known as Sunshine City Smokeout. You have two weeks to start preparing. It takes place Saturday, February 11, from 12-9 pm at the pier’s Spa Beach Park.
It’s more than just a BBQ Bourbon festival its a cookout. That’s right grill smiths and smoke kings are all showing up looking to be top dogs. Guests are going to be able to vote on multiple categories from pulled pork and ribs, to house-made sausages and sauces.
Just want to come for the smell then do so, there will be live bands from local areas and all across the region.
Early tickets are available and this is where you can save money. $65 or (95$ at the door) for the VIP experience that offers: a VIP area with shade and lounge seating; 2 drink tickets, and snacks served within the VIP Experience area. And it came in at #10 on a recent Buildworld study of the biggest eyesores in America. They looked at posts on social media about some of the world’s biggest architectural disasters and used negative comments made to isolate the 10 worst designs.
