HSCO Deputy Makes ‘A Few Thousand Dollars’ Selling Special Brownies To Inmates
Only in Florida. This morning Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister held a press conference announcing the arrest of a HCSO detention deputy. Allegedly, the deputy, 25 year-old Terry Bradford, was selling “special” (cannabis-laced) brownies to inmates at Falkenburg Road Jail. The Jail Intel Squad learned of the sales through a unnamed source, most likely an inmate, who was expecting an order on January 4.
In the press conference, it was stated that Bradford had brought edibles and other contraband to sell to inmates. He was taking payments through CashApp. He was caught red-handed when he walked into work yesterday, January 4. Officials found over a pound of his special weed-laced brownies that he had individually packaged for an easier purchase. According to ABC Action News, his illegal side hustle brought him “a few thousand dollars.”
Bradford was fired during the investigation. He was with HCSO for a year and a half, having worked for the Florida Department of Corrections in Zephyrhills. He also faces charges of introducing contraband into a detention facility and possession of a controlled substance.
