Out of the frying into the fryer, with the divorce dust settled Tom Brady is facing a class action lawsuit from the state of Florida now.
What has Tom Brady done that he now faces a Class Action Lawsuit? Well, it’s pretty simple, really; he messed with Crypto, and if I learned anything from the guy over at Wawa wearing that fancy tinfoil hat is that Crypto is dangerous. Everyone’s favorite GOAT was several celebrities listed in a class-action lawsuit dealing with the recent crypto scandal surrounding FTX.
Tom Brady isn’t the only one facing a class action lawsuit, as Stephen Curry and Shohei Ohtani are also listed in it. The suit comes from the U.S District Court of Southern Florida, claiming that Tom Brady and the others were responsible for the loss of $Billion in damages. That’s right, 9 zeroes worth of worth!
Reports say that: The athletes as parties “who either controlled, promoted, assisted in, and actively participated in FTX Trading and FTX US (collectively, the “FTX Entities”), offer and sale of unregistered securities in the form of yield-bearing accounts (YBAs) to residents of the United States.”
Tom Brady and now his Ex-wife Gisele Bundchen were both celebrity investors back in 2021. The problem that pushes Tom Brady out front is he has been featured in the commercials as receiving FTX Crypto in exchange. [Source Fox Business]

On Tuesday, February 1st Tom Brady announced his retirement on his Instagram. He said, “I have always believed that the sport of football is an ‘all-in’ proposition — if a 100% competitive commitment isn’t there, you won’t succeed, and success is what I love so much about our game. There is a physical, mental and emotional challenge EVERY single day that has allowed me to maximize my highest potential. And I have tried my very best these past 22 years. There are no shortcuts to success on the field or in life. This is difficult for me to write, but here it goes: I am not going to make that competitive commitment anymore. I have loved my NFL career, and now it is time to focus my time and energy on other things that require my attention.”
The announcement comes after ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweeted on Saturday (1/29) that Brady was going to retire after 22 seasons. Then later that day Brady’s agent released a statement saying: “I understand the advance speculation about Tom’s future. Without getting into the accuracy or inaccuracy of what’s being reported, Tom will be the only person to express his plans with complete accuracy. He knows the realities of the football business and planning calendar as well as anybody, so that should be soon.”
So now we all know. It has been quite a ride the last two years since Brady put on a Buccaneers uniform.
