Tom Brady Refuses to Give Up
What do you do when you have nearly 100,000 total career passing yards and the signs are showing the mileage hasn’t been good to you. Give Up? No according to Tom Brady as he refuses to give up on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has big dreams and goals to reach despite the less than eventful season we have seen so far.
Rolling into the short week Thursday against Baltimore Ravens people are already speculating a bad game. But despite that and other losses tom Brady is holding himself to a higher standard. Speaking on Let’s Go! podcast he was quoted saying:
“There’s no quit in our group and there will never be any quit as long as I’m a part of any team, I know that for sure,” Brady exclaimed.
“… You know I made a commitment to this team and I love this team and I love this organization. I told them in March I was playing and I never quit on anything in my life. I know as a bunch of teammates, we all count on each other and to work hard and put the team first and that’s what you commit to.”
A “no quit” attitude is fine but it may not be what the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are missing. Currently the GOAT has the worst record of his entire career since starting in 2002. Brady doesn’t plan to recreate that issue this season. Brady mentioned that their are plenty of teams with as bad or worst record that its to early in the season to hold him to the fire.
