A Florida sheriff has taken to social media to rip into a woman he calls a “despicable dog drowner.”
Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivy says 32-year-old Erica Black has been arrested after drowning her pet Chihuahua in her swimming pool in October 2021. Her arrest came after investigators examined footage from her home security camera, which shows her hold the dog underwater before slamming it on the pool deck afterward, Ivy says. To make matters worse, Black then posted pics of the dog’s body online, Ivy reveals.
“It makes me sick,” Ivy says in a video posted on Friday. “If I hear she has as much as a pet rock, I will lose my crap, because this woman doesn’t deserve to have anything. She deserves to rot in jail.”
