Pete Davidson in ‘Trauma Therapy’ Following Kanye West’s Harassment

Pete Davidson is in therapy to deal with the online harassment he has received from Kanye West — and likely, West’s fans — according to People.

People reports that Davidson, 28, has been in therapy since April of this year due to threatening posts from West, 45. West, of course, was furious that Davidson was dating his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, 41.

The outlet quotes an “insider” as saying, “The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics is a trigger for [Pete], and he’s had to seek out help.” The source adds that Davidson “has no regrets for dating Kim and wants it to be made very clear that she’s been nothing but supportive of him throughout their relationship.”

Davidson and Kardashian started dating last year, and Kanye’s harassment started pretty quickly after that.And it continues: following the news that Davidson and Kardashian have broken up, West posted a “fake” New York Times obit of Davidson.

  During an 'SNL' skit while playing President Joe Biden “from the real universe,” Davidson said, “The timeline you are all living in is about to collapse. A "reporter" asked, "What about the rest of us, are we OK in the real world?” Some fans seemingly took what Davidson's Biden said next as a diss to Kanye: “Everyone on earth is better off in the real world except one man named Pete Davidson. Your world is maybe more fun for him.”

  In the same episode in 2018, Davidson said he doesn't want to hear about Kanye's political views regardless of his respect for him as a musician. “Kanye is a genius, but like a musical genius," Davidson said during the 'Weekend Update' segment. "Like Joey Chestnut is a hot dog-eating genius, but I don’t want to hear his opinion about things that aren’t hot dog-related."
