Pete Davidson in ‘Trauma Therapy’ Following Kanye West’s Harassment
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - DECEMBER 06: Pete Davidson smokes as he arrives at TUBI's "The Freak Brothers" experience at Fred Segal on December 06, 2021 in Los Angeles, California.
Pete Davidson is in therapy to deal with the online harassment he has received from Kanye West — and likely, West’s fans — according to People.
People reports that Davidson, 28, has been in therapy since April of this year due to threatening posts from West, 45. West, of course, was furious that Davidson was dating his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, 41.
The outlet quotes an “insider” as saying, “The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics is a trigger for [Pete], and he’s had to seek out help.” The source adds that Davidson “has no regrets for dating Kim and wants it to be made very clear that she’s been nothing but supportive of him throughout their relationship.”
Davidson and Kardashian started dating last year, and Kanye’s harassment started pretty quickly after that. And it continues: following the news that Davidson and Kardashian have broken up, West posted a “fake” New York Times obit of Davidson.
