Largo Woman Arrested for Running Drug House Across from City Park
Largo woman is now under arrest for allegedly running a drug house across from a local city park, according to Channel 8. After receiving a tip from Pinellas Country Sheriffs department, Ellen Davis Sozio of Largo may be running her own version of narcos outside Woodrow Avenue, just across the street from a city park.
According to a police affidavit, Sozio’s home was put under surveillance. They conducted multiple traffic stops on people leaving her home, finding various drugs, including oxycodone, alprazolam, and hydrochloride. Furthermore, according to police, people admitted to buying the drugs from her in two seperate stops.
Police surveilled the purchases noting that Sozio would walk out to the road and make the transactions on the side of the road. Part of the research into the Largo woman included going through her garbage where it tested positive for methamphetamine three different times.
When Police were able to search her home, they finally found one room loaded with multiple drugs, including more alprazolam and oxycodone pills, as well as a bag of marijuana. Sozio admitted to the drugs being hers and to sell them as well.
Sozio was charged with operating a drug house and several counts of possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.
