Tampa Airport Launches Food Delivery Service Inside Terminal
The Tampa International Airport is starting a new thing where you can get food delivered to your seat as you wait to board your flight.
This is definitely something I will be taking advantage of next time I’m at the Tampa International Airport. I’ve always thought it would be cool to order food while in the security line and now that dream has come true! The news gets better too. You can order food from any gate, how cool is that? Have you ever wanted a cuban sandwich while at the airport to find out the Columbia restaurant is at Gate E and you are at Gate C. Trust me, it stinks. The new program is called TPA to Go and it was launched as a safe way for customers to have a contactless way to conveniently get your food while at TPA.
“TPA to Go is powered by the e-commerce platform, Grab, and AtYourGate, which spearheads the delivery component. Food items are cooked to order, boxed and sealed for a safe dining-on-the-go experience.”
The one thing to keep in mind when ordering is that they do charge a delivery fee… I think it’s worth it when trying to find a good seat and avoiding the long food lines. I might be arriving super early to the airport next time I fly out.
