Possible Sinkhole In New Port Richey Is Now FIVE Stories Deep

It just keeps getting bigger. The big hole in Pasco County just keeps growing. They’re still not officially calling it a sinkhole. But it’s still expanding and collapsing, according to tonight’s Channel 8 news. They say it’s now 50 to 75 feet deep! Nearby, The Varsity Club has been evacuated and shut down. 2 geologists will be out in the area tomorrow morning to determine what’s going to happen with the hole and if it is indeed a sinkhole. They say they still hear water gurgling, which means it might not stop growing anytime soon.
