Legendary WWE Star Kamala Dead From COVID-19
Legendary pro wrestling star James Harris, also known as Kamala, has died at the age of 70 from COVID-19.
During his 1980’s heyday, Harris was billed as ‘The Ugandan Giant Kamala’, battling stars like Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, and The Undertaker. He last appeared in WWE in 2006.
While his ‘jungle savage’ gimmick would be considered problematic today, Harris was beloved by fans as well as his fellow wrestlers.
Harris had suffered from health issues in recent years and lost a leg to diabetes in 2012.
