Californians Are Renting Out Their Pools Because Of Coronavirus
Coronavirus strikes again! People don’t want to hang at public pools and beaches because of the risk of catching the virus, so now there is another alternative.
In Southern California, many of the pools are still closed and homeowners have now started renting out their backyard pools on an hourly basis for some extra cash. One Los Angeles couple, Cooky and Alain Bali said they’ve made about $7,000 opening up their pool to strangers. The couple used a Swimply, a small start-up that lets people offer their backyard pool for rent by the hour, for a 15% service fee.
The website had 165 pools in the L.A. area with prices ranging from $30 to $75 per hour.
I will only do it if a hottie from Playboy is lounging by the pool too.
