You Might Not Get Your Money Back For Concerts Cancelled In Tampa
Ticketmaster’s website used to say you could get a refund if an event is “postponed, rescheduled, or canceled.” Now, it just says, “canceled.” And that has some ticket holders upset.
The New York Times first reported the discrepancy. The language was changed just before most events were called off or pushed back amid the coronavirus outbreak.
The change also comes as another ticket broker – StubHub – finds itself embroiled in a lawsuit for providing 120% vouchers in lieu of refunds. Blabbermouth reports officials call the situation untenable.
