Wide receiver Antonio Callaway, who was drafted by the Browns in the 4th round of the 2018 NFL draft, has just signed with the Tampa Bay Vipers.
An All American at the University of Florida in 2015, Callaway and Gator QB Treon Harris were suspended from the team related to an accusation of sexual assault. A woman accused Callaway of sexual assault and Harris of attempted sexual assault in December 2015. The University of Florida suspended both players for violating the school’s code of conduct policy.
The Cleveland Browns suspended Callaway for the first four games of the 2019 season for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. He was ultimately released from the Browns.
