Eddie Murphy’s SNL Return/Most Memorable Characters
Eddie Murphy will return to host Saturday Night Live this weekend. It has been 35 years since he last did so.
The former SNL cast member wants the show to live up to the hype.
He told Al Roker on Today, “I just want it to be a good show. It’s been 35 years and they’ve got a great cast now, and they’ve got a great team of writers now, and there’s no reason why this show shouldn’t be really special. I want it to live up to any expectations anyone has. And if you have no expectations, I want it to blow you through the back of the studio. Hopefully. That’s what we’re hoping for.”
Murphy has flown his 10 children to New York to see the event.
