Will Orlando Get A MLB Team?
Co-Founder of the Orlando Magic, Pat Williams, announced his mission to bring a MLB team to Central Florida.
This major league baseball team would be new team called DREAMERS, very in style with NBA’s MAGIC and Walt Disney World. They even have a website already…
According to ABC Action News, The plan was announced on today (Wednesday) to get community support from Central Florida baseball fans. The plan is similar to the one he made in the 1980s to get the Orlando Magic started.
“Orlando has proven in the years since the Magic began playing in 1989 that it is every bit a big league sports town,” Williams said according to WESH. “Soccer fans have embraced the Orlando City Lions, and now it’s time to step up to the plate and make baseball happen, too.”
How is this going to work if every major Florida city rejects baseball? We will have to wait and see how Central Florida responds.

“Rays have 8 years left on their lease. They’ve said they’re exploring a radical plan to play in two cities... our job with this package is to make it so attractive, so luscious people say we’ve got to get there” pic.twitter.com/mjCJ7fyT8O
