Low-Cost Canadian Airline To Start Flights From Tampa To Toronto
Starting November 1, 2023, Canadian airline Porter Airlines will be offering new low-cost flights from Tampa International Airport to Toronto.
Porter Airlines’ headquarters is at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. A regional airport located on the Toronto Islands in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Porter Airlines was limited to the destinations they were able to fly to due to the limitations of the Dash 8 Q400 aircraft that they were using exclusively. This is a smaller turboprop plane.
The plane that Porter will be using for this flight is an Embraer E195-E2 which features no middle seats. Each plane carries 132 passengers. Some of the other comforts of this plane are natural leather seats, adjustable headrests, and bi-fold, sliding tray tables for more space. Every seat has power outlets and an unobstructed under-seat footwell area for additional carry-on bag stowage. They will have 50 in their fleet by the end of this year. According to Porter Airlines’ website, the fuel consumption for this aircraft is lowest per seat and trip within the 120-150 seat aircraft class.
Canadian airline Porter Airlines’ goal is to provide smooth travel with onboard service and great amenities that will make the trip enjoyable. The airline offers free wifi, beer, and snacks.
