Some inventions and products just don’t make sense. Who would want this? Yes, toast and coffee are a great pair in the morning to start your day. But not literally together! You have your coffee and you have your toast. Having tubes of coffee to put on your toast sounds crazy! However, it’s a real thing that a Swiss company made. It’s not just for toast either! You can spread it on fruit, like a banana, and more! The reactions are now coming in and they seem…quite mixed.
Swiss Company Creates Tubes Of Coffee To Put On Toast
It can’t possible be worse than Vegemite, right? Well, that’s to be determined. It comes from No Normal Coffee and they are promising a product that you can eat or drink and it’s crafted from 100% Fairtrade Arabica beans and sweetened using organic Swiss beet sugar, per Daily Mail. The product comes in a 100g tube filled with the glossy jet black substance and runs 14 Euros.
Of course, it’s not intended for every day normal consumption. Instead, it’s aimed at activities like camping where having your normal coffee can be difficult. However, that doesn’t mean it can’t and won’t be found in ordinary kitchens. It seems like it will be more favored by people who like their coffee black and strong. If you’re like me and you like coffee with your sugar and cream then I doubt this is something that’s going to excite you.
Not everyone is hating it! Some people have been pleasantly surprised by the slightly nutty and perfectly roasted taste. Others can appreciate the texture but don’t end up liking the taste very much.
