The 5 Best Secret Songs for Rip Ride Rockit at Universal Orlando
The Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at Universal Studios is my must-ride every visit. It’s probably because music is such a big part of my life. There might be faster coasters or rides with wild advances in technology and special effects. But give me a roller coaster that lets you pick the soundtrack and I’m ready to rock. What many don’t realize is there’s a whole underground list of secret songs for Rip Ride Rockit at Universal.
The menu of songs you can choose for Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit that you see when you’re standing in line is kind of uninspiring. Many of the songs are now dated. A good chunk of them were popular songs at the time when Rip Ride Rockit made its debut back in 2009. That’s 15 years ago. But there is a hidden list of classics posted online.
How to access the secret songs for Rip Ride Rockit
You’ve gotta be quick, so memorize this now because you can’t bring your cell phone on the ride. When you take your seat on the ride, press the Rip Ride Rockit logo for about 10 seconds. A screen should appear that will let you type in a numeric code. That’s when you want to type in one of these 3 digit codes.
My personal 5 favorite secret song codes
“Lose Yourself” by Eminem – 306
“Ride Like The Wind” by Christopher Cross – 307
“Rainbow Connection” by The Muppets – 902
“Paranoid” by Black Sabbath – 711
“Immigrant Song” by Led Zeppelin – 113
If you only can pick one because you’re just going to ride once (the lines do get long), may I personally suggest “Rainbow Connection?” It’s a vibe. I like to rock out so Led Zep and Black Sabbath are excellent choices too. And “Ride Like The Wind” totally fits the ride experience too. But there’s something about Kermit leading you through the dips and turns that is magical.
Give it a try next time you are at Universal. One word of warning… they can change codes and songs without warning. If you notice any of my particular picks have changed, please let me know and I’ll update this.
