Tampa Bay Gas Stations With The Best Snacks
Whether you’re on a long road trip or fighting a growling stomach around town, gas stations are perfect for a midday snack. If you hit the wrong spot, you’ll be left with the snicklefritz snacks that probably expired last year. Here are the gas stations with the best snacks across Tampa Bay.
First, let’s define ‘snacks’. We’re talking a combo of drinks, candy, crunchy stuff, sweets, and some full meal options. Sometimes you just need a bag of Sour Patch Kids and an energy drink to get you through the rest of the day. Or sometimes, you’re looking to kill two birds with one stone and get the gas and meal combo.
What Are The Tampa Bay Gas Stations With The Best Snacks?
If a gas station has pizza, Nerd Clusters, protein snacks, and Jerky, it’s a go. Everything else is an added bonus. My personal favorite and consistent #1 choice is 7-Eleven.
7-Eleven
In Tampa, the 7-Eleven at 2717 W Hillsborough Ave is open 24 hours and has a Loredo Taco attached to it. You’ve got aisles of snack foods, candy, and hot n’ ready food options you’d traditionally see with the bonus of Laredo’s Tacos.
You really can’t go wrong with most 7-Eleven stores, but I’d stand clear of the one off of Dale Mabry HWY. There are always a couple of transients that will do anything for a buck and the snack selection is subpar.
RaceTrac
Another option you can always count on is RaceTrac. RaceTrac has your traditional snacks like candy, chips, and drinks, but goes one step further. They have hot pizza, breakfast sandwiches, sandwiches, salads, roller grill hot foods, pastries, donuts, and Swirl World.
SwirlWorld is stacked with ice cream, frozen yogurt, Italian ice, and a wide variety of toppings. This is the perfect snack for a Florida summer day and is why RaceTrac is one of the gas stations with the best snacks.
The RaceTrac at 1201 E Bay Drive in Largo claims a 4.1-star rating on Google. This specific RaceTrac always has clean bathrooms and always has stocked shelves full of snacks. The best part? Self-checkout with bags for when you’re in a hurry.
Circle K
Last, but not least, Circle K. Many of the new Circle K locations have updated facilities that are much cleaner than their stores of the past. They have aisles of snacks, hot foods, donuts, and sandwiches. Their burgers are wrapped in foil so you just know they’re nice and juicy.
Located in Pinellas Park, the Circle K at 110701 49th St N is always stacked and has a 3.9-star rating on Google. It was freshly built back in 2021 and is one of the easiest gas stations to get in and out to ensure a quick transaction.
7-Eleven, RaceTrac, and Circle K are just a few of the gas stations with the best snacks. As long as the food is hot, aisles are stacked and options are available, these gas stations will always be a go-to.
