Tampa Mom Left Baby Alone In Car Because She Couldn’t Afford Sitter
A Florida woman was arrested after the mom left baby alone in a locked car! She was arrested after she left her 4-month-old alone in the car so she could work. Apparently, the woman couldn’t find anyone to babysit her child so she left it alone instead.
Mom Left Baby Alone In Car Because She Couldn’t Afford Sitter:
According to Fox13News, the Hillsborough County woman locked her baby inside the vehicle. Someone thankfully called the police and that’s when the HCSO showed up. Deputies arrived at 4145 South Falkenburg Road in Riverview and discovered the child locked inside the car. One of the worst parts about this situation was the baby being locked inside a vehicle that was not running. Aisha Morrow, 26, was arrested and explained that she had no one to watch her child. She had grabbed the infant during her lunch break and then left the baby because she couldn’t find anybody to watch it.
Deputies are currently trying to figure out what exactly happened. It’s hard to comprehend that a mother would leave her 4-month-old baby inside a locked car. Police aren’t sure how long the infant was actually inside but they say it could have been up to six hours. Luckily, the baby was not harmed. Morrow was charged with one count of child neglect. Morrow does have a past though. She was previously arrested in 2023 by the TPD and charged with one count of child neglect and one count of aggravated assault with deadly weapon.
It’s one thing to not be able to afford a babysitter. It’s another to just leave your new born baby in a locked car so you can work. And who knows how long the baby was actually in the car for? It’s a sad situation and we all hope that her and the baby stay safe and healthy. Since she wasn’t her first time being arrested we hope something like this doesn’t happen again.
